Purchased at "MY FAVORITE (OLD) THINGS," an exhibition and sale of antique and vintage items that Mariko Mikuni's team found in England and France, held at Shibuya PARCO's "Hobonichi Sunday" in January 2020. Unused since purchase.
"A sweater carefully knitted using both crochet and knitting needles.
It's beautiful, but I thought it was too feminine and wouldn't suit me, but when I tried it on (I say so myself), it actually looked quite good on me.
Perhaps because I happened to be wearing slim, center-pleated pants with a menswear-like feel, the lace on the upper body looked clean, and I thought, 'This is a good way to wear it.'
The balloon sleeves from the elbow to the wrist are fun and make your arms look beautiful.
