This is a Welsharpe fountain pen nib. The nib is marked "Welsharpe STAINLESS 14K GOLD PLATED MADE IN U.S.A.".
The Welsharpe brand was part of the Starr Pen Company, which also owned the Winchester and Conklin brands.
The nib is gold-plated stainless steel, which is a common material for fountain pen nibs.
The 14K marking refers to the gold plating, not a solid gold nib.
It's in fair condition and not sure how well it will work but it is available and authentic. The dime is not included.
