This is a vintage silver-tone metal mirror compact marked ALPACCA indicating alpaca (nickel) silver construction. The compact features ornate engraved scrollwork and a monogram reading "A.M.G." on one side. No additional maker's marks are present. This piece dates to the early to mid 20th century and is being sold as a vintage estate vanity accessory.
The compact opens to reveal an interior mirror and an original powder compartment with fabric pouf. The mirror shows spotting and age-related wear.
