Vintage Navajo Fire Agate Sterling Silver Statement Ring Size 11.5
This beautiful, substantial vintage women's ring is crafted in a classic Southwestern Navajo style, likely dating from the late 20th century. The focal point is a large, high-domed cabochon of natural fire agate, a unique gemstone known for its strong, iridescent color flashes. The stone exhibits excellent "bubbling" texture and is dominated by rich, deep purple fire, accented beautifully by secondary flashes of vibrant yellow and thrid, green. The stone is secured in a smooth bezel and framed by traditional rope-twist wire and applied silver bead work with stamp work. Though unmarked, the silver tests positive for sterling. This impressive ring makes a bold, eye-catching statement.
