Vintage necklace by Miriam Haskell, signed as "MIRIAM HASKLL" on the back of the clasp.
Material used:
- Classic and renowned "Niki synthetic pearl," used famously by Miriam Haskell;
- Brass.

Flaw:
- Overall vintage wear (brass is especially prone to discoloration and tarnishing due to aging);
- Overall wear (flaking, peeling, scratching) of the synthetic pearls, rather obvious on quite some of them.
Please understand that the Niki pearls Miriam Haskell used are very prone to flaking and peeling. Unlike typical synthetic pearls that rely on electroplated coatings, Niki pearls achieve their nacreous luster through a traditional pearilizing process: each glass bead is dipped in a special emulsion derived from fish scales, which then solidifies into its luminous surface, during which no high-tech color sealing was involved.
