This Vintage Mary Frances Top Lift Butterfly Bell Box Bag from the mid to late 1980’s is a piece of wearable art! Featuring a bell-shaped box with black string fabric/trim with a hard front with butterflies, flowers and leaves in relief, hand beading/stones and a top that lifts off and is attached to the strap. A true, one-of-a-kind bag!
Details:
Exterior – Wooden bell-shaped box, hand beading, stones, fabric string sides, bottom and trim, gold and fabric chain and a top lift closure.
Interior – Black lacquer.
Condition – Very good vintage condition for a bag that is over 30 years old. Some minimal wear to the top of the box structure, not noticeable when the lid is on. Mary Frances bags from the 80’s did not have an internal Mary Frances tag, just the round made in the Philippines stamp.
