A beautiful and sculptural gilt brass cuff by Hervé Van Der Straeten, hand-hammered with a subtle low-relief banding and decorative hand-scored lines across the surface. The interior side shows the repoussé marks of the banding and the small oval monogram of Van Der Straeten. Hervé Van Der Straeten rose to prominence in the mid-1980s making luxurious and finely-crafted Modernist-inspired jewellery for haute couture designers such as Thierry Mugler, Alexander McQueen and Christian Lacroix.
