Vintage Detroit Knitting Mills 100% Virgin Wool V-Neck Pullover Sweater 50s

Vintage men's pullover sweater by Detroit Knitting Mills (DKM), made of 100% virgin wool (note: some "triple strand" or heavy knit design) with a deep V-neck and a distinctive four-stripe pattern on one sleeve. Approximate measurements: 23″ pit-to-pit (46″ chest), 26″ length, 19″ shoulders, 24″ sleeve. Likely from the 1950s-60s era. Black knit body, ivory/cream sleeve stripes. Condition: good vintage — the body has some thread pulls/wear in the knit on front center (see photos) and there is a faint stain/discoloration on the striped sleeve (see close-up). No major holes or tears noted. A great piece for the vintage sweater or heritage menswear collector, especially given brand, material, and era.
