Vintage 1950s silk scarf featuring nine illustrated scenes inspired by traditional folk songs from around the world. Includes Au Clair de la Lune (France), Serenade – Rue Yoli (Parisian vignette), Santa Lucia and Funiculì Funiculà (Italy), Oh Susanna and Turkey in the Straw (United States), Annie Laurie (Scotland), Cockles and Mussels (Ireland), plus an unlabeled Mexican folk-style serenade scene. Bright mustard yellow ground with pink, lilac, blue, and black sketch-style artwork framed in floral wreaths.
