TOAST waxed cotton jacket

Excellent condition, barely worn, still has the brand new waxy hand feel. Size XL, men’s collection RRP £395 Has barely been worn so hasn't yet softened or moulded to a wearer, as it will in time. Gorgeous golden tan brown colour. Perfect top layer for transitional weather - rainproof but not bulky or hot to wear. Beautiful shape, and room for layers if needed. Super cute alternative to a plastic pack a mac. Rare to find and much sought after, especially in such super condition. TOAST explain: Other waterproof materials have come along, but none has the durability and breathability of waxed cotton. PVC, for instance, provides little insulation and cracks when it gets old, whereas waxed cotton, well treated, can last a lifetime and more. You will still need to re-coat it each year (many manufacturers advise doing so in the summer, when warm weather helps the wax seep into the fabric) but the reward will be a garment with a unique patina that keeps going season atter season. Sometimes the old ways are the best.
