In 1989, an international team composed of members from six countries around the world, including Keizo Funatsu, a Japanese adventurer, challenged the trans-Antarctic crossing with the aim of appealing the importance of the environment and peace, and all members successfully reached the goal in March 1990.
This is a sweat parka that incorporates the details of the Trans Antarctica Parka (NP62238), which was designed based on the wear worn by the members of the Antarctic crossing at the time.
Made of thick fleece-lined sweat fabric mainly made of cotton, it features a rubber print of the TRANS ANTARCTICA illustration on the back and an embroidered "The Continent of Peace" logo on the front.
