Numerous details, almost entirely original, are packed in. The front pockets are sewn with three-needle stitching, and denim fabric is used for the pocket lining instead of cotton twill. The coin pocket placed on the right pocket comes from the anecdote that British aristocrats used to put their thumbs in it. The back pockets are square and riveted. The stitching looks like 66, a nod to a certain vintage American denim. The yoke, sewn to overlap the pockets, is sewn three-dimensionally and designed to prevent the back from hanging. Also, the belt loops of different lengths are carefully positioned and sized to accommodate body movement.

The hem is called a double hem, set slightly longer to be worn folded twice, from the anecdote that cowboys folded their hems twice to use as ashtrays.

Ward is a plant of the genus Isatis in the Brassicaceae family, cultivated in Europe, and is said to be the oldest indigo dye. The deep indigo blue and the uneven dyeing characteristic of hand-dyeing are textures that only Tender can produce.

The Ward denim, which can only be dyed by a limited number of artisans, has extremely low production numbers. Due to the unstable supply unique to hand-dyeing, it is also called a phantom.
