This jacket is a custom order piece made for a U.S. soldier stationed in the port city of Cam Ranh, South Vietnam, in the mid-1960s. The back features a stylized panther face. Most existing Vietnam jackets have map patterns, making this embroidered design rare. The right chest displays a Vietnamese landscape, the left chest features the three characters "福禄寿" (usually only "福"), and the dragon on the sleeves is larger than those on other Vietnam jackets. This jacket is a reproduction based on a very rare vintage piece.
