This time, STUDIO D'ARTISAN has created an original material based on the motif of Amegusuri weaving.
Amegusuri is a traditional Japanese pattern that uses kasuri threads only for the warp threads, and expresses the appearance of rain with irregularly broken straight lines.
These are RAIN Kasuri jeans made using that original material.
The rain is expressed by the random arrangement of slub yarns, and 14.0oz selvedge denim woven on a shuttle loom is used.
The weft is dyed gray, giving it a deep indigo blue finish.
