Signed, first printing of the first limited (to 750 copies) hardcover edition of Veniss Underground by Jeff Vandermeer (Night Shade Books, 2003). Very hard to find edition of this early work of “New Weird” fantasy by the author of the Area X trilogy / Borne / the Ambergris novels - and many others. An (inexplicable) ex-library copy with very minimal remnants of use there - stamps to top edge of text block and faintly torn endpapers where the previous archival sleeve over jacket was adhered. Jacket is now in new archival sleeve and has very mild shelf wear around the edges. Binding is tight, spine is straight and all pages are clean and unmarked. Boards are straight and clean.
