This is The Autobiography of Benvenuto Cellini and it was illustrated, signed and numbered by Salvador Dali. This is #173/1000 created. My grandfather wrote to Doubleday in 1970 and I will include that letter in the purchase as well. Prices range for this book online between $800-$1100 so I'm listing this on the low end. There is one minor stain on the spine so please look at all pictures carefully. This book was published in 1946 so it is in great condition for being 80 years old. The Salvador Dali prints on the inside are absolutely pieces of art by themselves. It comes from a smoke free, mold free house and has been stored in the dark.
