These File Index Card size 10 mil thermal laminating pouches 3.5” x 5.5” for up to 3.25 x 5.25 size sheets are high clarity after adhesive is heat activated. The clear glossy finish protects and enhances colors. These laminates are 10 mil thick on each flap for major durability, strength, rigidity and protection. ALERT: Many pouch laminators on the market can seal a maximum of only 5 mil pouches, so PLEASE make sure your laminator is capable of sealing 10 mil pouches prior to ordering. (If you don’t have your machine’s manual, a good reference is if your laminator has either a speed control OR a temperature control, it will likely seal 10 mil pouches). Note: Industry standard specification for 10 mil laminating pouches is 10 mil on each flap for a total of 20 mil added to your paper sheet. 1 mil equals 1/1000th of an inch (metric: 25 microns). The industry calls these pouches, yet they are sealed on only one edge instead of three (like a folder, but with 3/32” flat seal for the fold). This product has heat activated adhesive compatible in all thermal pouch laminators capable of sealing 10 mil 3.5” x 5.5” laminating pouches. Tips:When trying ANY brand for the 1st time, consider running at a slightly lower temperature (or faster speed). If the results are cloudy, you can always run the sheet again at a higher temperature or slower speed, but you cannot fix heat blisters caused by running too hot.
