Scott Sheldon Signed Auto Baseball All 9 Positions Sept 6 2000 Rangers Inscribed

On September 6, 2000, Texas Rangers utility player Scott Sheldon became the third Major League Baseball player to play all nine positions in a single game against the Chicago White Sox, joining Bert Campaneris (1965) and Cesar Tovar (1968). The Rangers lost 13-1, with Sheldon entering the game in the 4th inning and moving through all defensive spots, even pitching an inning and striking out the only batter he faced, Jeff Liefer.
