Gorgeous rich red & brown geode agate stone pendant. The bail is silver and textured. The stone is sliced fairly thin with gorgeous rough textures along the sides. Such a pretty piece in wonderful shape.

Red agate's chemical composition is silicon dioxide (\(SiO_{2}\)), with the red color coming from impurities like iron oxides or, less commonly, manganese or nickel oxides. It is a variety of the mineral chalcedony, which is a cryptocrystalline form of quartz with a fine, fibrous structure.
