The golden meteorite is an Un brecciated, low-shock (S2) ordinary chondrite of intermediate composition. It is believed to have originated in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, where it was formed from the debris left over from the formation of the solar system. The meteorite is estimated to be around 4.5 billion years old, making it one of the oldest and most ancient objects in our solar system.
