Here is, literally and figuratively, two tiny pieces of WWII history. THEY ARE approximately 3" tall and 1 1/2 " wide by 1 " thick on sides. See more below.
Japan began producing objects for export to Europe and America as their devastated economy switched to peaceful trade in the war's aftermath around 1945. They resemble Royal Doulton Figurines but are much harder to find as most were broken, discarded or not considered collectible at that time.
Figurines like this can be found on the antiques market "occasionally." (Sometimes stamped Occupied Japan).
Only one of these figurines have a partial stamp in red but we cannot decipher it. Someone in the past, has written Jane Nichols and Terry or Jerry Reagan on the bottoms in pencil? We are not sure why?
No returns or refunds. Please view photos and descriptions before buying. Thank you!
