Fenton International Optics in Green Opalescent 91072 — 13" Diameter Candle Plate.
This remarkable piece showcases a specialized glassmaking technique mastered by only a few manufacturers worldwide: the glass turns white in areas that are cooled and reheated. Rich, jewel-tone greens blend with opalescent layers to create soft white, wispy oval patterns throughout the plate. The underside bears the Fenton International logo.
A rare and striking example of the innovative art glass produced by Fenton in the years leading up to the factory’s closing, this plate represents the bold creativity of the International line. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
