This original and really attractive 1876 Centennial Edition copy of the Declaration of Independence is boldly headed in black: "Centennial Memorial, 1776–1876. In Congress. July 4, 1776. – The Unanimous Declaration of the Thirteen United States of America." Small printed text towards bottom: "Entered according to Act of Congress, in the year 1874, by James McBride, in the office of the Librarian of Congress, at Washington, D.C.”
