About – Entry is a video intercom system that works standalone or alongside our Net2 access control solution or Paxton10, access control and video management, combining door entry with key features of our access control software. The entry consists of 3 components that auto-detect on set up; external panel, interior monitor, and door control unit.

The Entry Premium monitor comes with a 7″ capacitive color touch screen, free concierge management functionality, and several personalization options available with built-in themes. The monitor can be wall or desk-mounted.

When used with the Entry Touch panel the premium monitor supports two-way video calling and video voicemails.

Installation – Entry components simply interconnect using Cat5 or standard RJ45 terminated patch cables. Entry can also utilize existing network infrastructure for simple installation. PoE technology runs power and data along the same cable to avoid the need for separate power supplies.

The Entry monitor – desktop stand enables the Entry monitor to be positioned conveniently on a desk or table.

Operation – A visitor initiates a video call via the bell button on the external panel. Visitor access can be granted via the Entry monitor, which features an intuitive touch screen user interface. The internal monitor can be used via either the handset for private calls or in hands-free mode.

When connected to Net2, access to the building can be gained by using a PIN, code, and/or proximity token. When connected to Paxton10, access can be gained by using Bluetooth® smart credentials, a PIN, code, and/or proximity token.
