For sale is a Rare Struck Upside Down 1800’s Early US Large Cent Mint Error Coin.
This is the Only Known Large Cent to have ever been Struck with its design upside down.
There is a good possibly this was a 1800’s Test Strike used for testing the Large Cents design.
An Incredibly Difficult To Find Error Type For a Large Cent.
The US Mint struck this coins back side design upside down, the result is the word “CENT” appearing upside down as “TNEC”, and with the all the letters backwards as well.
