This replacement electronic distributor fits 41-71 Willys and Jeep models with the 134 cubic in. L and F-head engine and a 12 volt electrical system. The distributor features solid state electronic internals for a more dependable performing ignition system, eliminating the troublesome points completely! Unit should be used with an internally resisted coil (17247.02) OR with an external resister between the coil and the distributor. Includes installation instructions. Replaces OE 923068
