Suitable for coldwater & tropical aquariums. 3 day treatment for Hole-in-the-head disease and Bloat

When to use?

• Certain species of bacteria and parasites can cause Hole-in-the-head disease in many different species of fish, and cause Bloat in African cichlid species.
• Use when fish show symptoms of holes, pits, or lesions around the head, face, and/or lateral line. Use when fish show symptoms of abdominal bloating, protruding scales, white or clear trailing faeces, and loss of appetite.

Do:

• Clean your aquarium and perform a water change, then test the water quality (using Aquarium Lab Test Kits) before treating to ensure your parameters are correct.
• Calculate the volume of your aquarium in litres (length x width x depth (in cm)/1000). Alternatively scroll down this page and we will calculate it for you!
• Increase the aeration in the aquarium.
• Gently tip bottle 10 times. Do not shake
• Mix required treatment with 1 liter of aquarium water.
• Add slowly to the aquarium.

Warning:

• This product may cause foam to appear on the surface, this is normal and soon fades. If your aquarium is heavily stocked or has low water flow, using this product without sufficient aeration may lead to adverse effects.
• Continue filtration during treatment but turn off UV sterilizers and ozonisers, remove zeolite and carbon. These can be turned on and added 4 days after the last treatment. Wait 4 days after the last treatment before completing a water change, except in an emergency.
• Do not use any other medications during treatment. If you feel a second round of treatment is required, first check your diagnosis is correct, test your water quality using NT Labs Test Kits and carry out a 30% partial water change.
