This is a wooden educational toy from NIKI TIKI, which I received over 20 years ago.
It's a toy where the lid of the wooden box has cutouts, and you fit wooden blocks of the same shape into the box to play.
Originally, this box & blocks were painted in very colorful primary colors of red, blue, yellow, and green. However, they didn't match my interior decor, so I painted over them with monotone paint. Because of this, the blocks don't slide in as smoothly as they should, and it's a little difficult to put them in.
NIKI TIKI toys are very expensive and of high quality, so I hope someone will take this item, even though it's a bit of a "junk" item. Even if you don't play with it, I think it's a wonderful item with high decorative value.
