From Nigel Cabourn, a sweatshirt based on the design of training wear used by the British Army.
The right side is from the 1930s, and the left side is from the 1940s. Each design faithfully reproduces the different specifications of the different eras, and it is a unique piece that boldly connects them in the center of the body.
The two vintage wear pieces that served as the base have the same basic design, but the ribbing structure and size differ depending on the era, and to faithfully reproduce this, the sleeve ribs are different in size, and there is a step in the hem ribs.
To finish one piece, a flat seamer was used for the 30s (left) and a lock machine for the 40s (right), and Nigel's commitment can be seen not only in the overall design but also in the fine details.
The broad arrow on the sleeves is also a familiar detail in British military items, and it plays a role as an accent.
It may seem like a rather unusual design, but because the whole is unified in basic colors, and the basic design is simplified by eliminating waste and focusing on functionality, it blends in overall and is finished as a calm piece.
It is a plain sweatshirt, but it is a sweatshirt that looks good even when worn alone.
