The YASHICA FX-D is a new generation of film simulation camera series that combines the charm of analog with the convenience of digital. Born as a digital homage to the legendary YASHICA FX-3, it revives the timeless appeal of film in the digital age.

FX-D stands for Film Experience in Digital, embodying the concept of "experiencing film with digital." It is the only camera that allows you to embrace the careful practices of analog photography while simultaneously enjoying the convenience of digital.

"YASHICA FX-D aims to bridge the appeal of both film camera operation and digital flexibility," says the YASHICA public relations representative. This camera series is designed for photographers who want to take their time with their subjects and enjoy taking pictures intentionally.

The series' iconic feature is the manual "film advance lever." It creates a "pause" between each shot, offering an experience that focuses on the time it takes to take a photo.

The FX-D S300 is the only model in the series equipped with an EVF (electronic viewfinder).

When you bring the camera to your eye, the LCD screen automatically turns off, providing an immersive shooting experience that allows you to focus on your subject.
The inclusion of an EVF was considered from the initial development stages, but due to cost considerations, it was not included in the FX-D 100 and 300. On the other hand, for those who prefer a more classic style and a deeper immersion in shooting, the FX-D S300 has specifications that more deeply embody the spirit of analog photography.
