Movement is the debut studio album by English rock band New Order, released on 13 November 1981 by Factory Records. Recorded following the suicide of Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis the previous year, the album is a continuation of Joy Divisions dark post-punk sound, featuring increased use of synthesizers while remaining predominantly rooted in rock.
