New Balance 550 “Wheat / Workwear” – suede leather trainers (UK 8.5 / US 9 / EU 42.5) The New Balance 550 is a reissue of the original 1989 basketball silhouette that became a modern classic after its Aimé Leon Dore revival in 2020. This pair is the workwear-inspired Wheat colourway (style code BB550WEA, visible on the size label), made with premium nubuck/suede uppers, tonal leather “N” logos, padded mesh collar and the original chunky cupsole design. The all-wheat palette takes cues from Timberland-style work boots, making them easy to wear with denim, cargos or workwear fits while still keeping that clean vintage basketball profile. Manufactured in 10/2022. Condition is good overall with light wear and some natural darkening to the suede at the toes from use (see photos) – no structural issues, plenty of life left.
