Frank Cho's Monkey Boy in vinyl figure format. 8 inches in height. From the Liberty Meadows comic strip(and later comic book).
Standing with slumped shoulders looking deliriously happy,smokin a stogie and holding a bottle of corn lightning.
Released as a Previews Catalog exclusive in 2007. Produced 18 years ago.
There were 5 versions that I know of for this figure,in all.
A red white and blue version(200 made-NYCC?),a black and white version(50 pieces for Toy Tokyo),the box art version(1000 copies produced-the main release),a neon green version,and the one on offer,the brown version. I couldn't find how many were made for these last 2 versions. I believe they were both Previews exclusives.
This was opened for the first time for pics. It comes with a numbered card,# 365,of I don't know how many.
My monkey boy came with the cigar loose in the bag.
It holds tight in the yinyl mouth once inserted. The box says choking hazard,so I think it was loose in the bag.
