Beautiful men’s Kimono & Haori jacket set made from a particular Tsumugi fabric with many fine knots. Tsumugi (紬) is a traditional slub-woven silk fabric woven from yarns of varying diameters, originating in Japan. It has a rough surface that softens further with age. This kimono has many fine knots compared to regular tsumugi, and is very particularly and unique fabric. The inside of the Haori coat depicts an traditional autumn custom from the Heian period(8-12th century), in which people drink sake with floating chrysanthemum petals in it to pray for longevity. Long Kimono: Length under collar 141 cm Sleeve and shoulder 69 cm Haori Jacket: Length under collar 88 cm Sleeve and shoulder 69 cm Good conditions, light negligible stains as shown in the photos.
