Gorgeous black depression glass ashtray with elephant. Designed by L.E. Smith.
Has 4 large slots for either cigarettes or cigars. Diameter of ashtray is approximately 6 inches. Great condition, some light scratching, blemishes and scuffing from use.
I believe this is an old piece, possibly depression glass from the 1930s, made by LE Smith in black amethyst color.
