The Kata E-702 and E-704 are waterproof covers designed so you can continue to take photographs in rain, snow or sandstorms with your digital SLR protected from the elements. The rain covers can be used with the camera on a tripod. The covers are made from RipStop waterproof and tear proof nylon. The "window" on the the E-702 is clear, heavy gauge plastic. The plastic on the E-702 has a slight yellow cast, which does not effect its performance. The plastic allows you to view the camera controls and LCD or look through the viewfinder eyepiece.
The E-704 consists of 2 long lens sleeves and 1 hand sleeve. The sleeves are designed to attach to the E-702 when shooting with zoom or Tele lenses. The sleeves have full length Velcro closures along the bottom for easy-on/off while allowing access to the lens controls.
