This is an authentic Roman ring made of bronze. The ring has a diameter of some 1 cm. It shows a "hobnail" or "flower" design on the bezel and has nicely decorated bands. This ring has been dated to around the third century A.D. thus making it around 1700 years old! It is in very good, unrestored condition and was unearthed at a dig site in the Balkan, Eastern Europe, an area where the Romans often went to war to subdue the East Celts. Holding this artifact in one's hand, one can almost feel the power and might of the Roman Empire!
