Freud is one of the few manufacturers of woodworking tools in the world that produces its own micro-grain carbide for each tool application for maximum life, finish, and productivity. In addition, Freud’s Tri-metal brazing allows the tooth to move slightly reducing impact and tooth damage, which proves critical in cutting solid wood with knots common in ripping applications.
