FlipFuel is a device that transfers leftover fuel from one partially filled canister to another. Use FlipFuel to consolidate fuel into one canister so that you can carry a full canister and recycle the empties. The fuel transfer device supports isobutane fuel canisters.
STEP 1: Place receiving canister in the freezer, ice chest, or a cool shaded area. Place sending canister in the sun.
STEP 2: Wait 5 to 10 minutes. This allows the fuel canisters to create a temperature differential that facilitates the transfer.
STEP 3: Thread canisters onto FlipFuel device. Sending canister on top ("OUT") side, receiving canister on bottom ("IN") side. Hand tighten.
STEP 4: Open valve to transfer fuel. Once fuel transfer is complete, close valve and detach isobutane fuel canisters.
NOTICE: Be sure to not overfill canisters, as they may function improperly. A digital scale is the best way to ensure you do not exceed the canisters limit.
Only transfer fuel between two canisters of the same brand and model.
