Excellent Condition Authentic Hospital Gown Wool French Vintage French Army Military

This is a masterpiece of French military style.

It's a vintage French Army hospital gown jacket from around the 1940s.
This item was used by the S.S.A (Service de Santé des Armées), an organization established in 1939. It was designed to be worn by wounded soldiers, so it features a casual design without buttons on the front and a large shawl collar that gently wraps around the neck.
The thick, high-quality wool fabric and the three-dimensional shape are simply excellent.
It looks great just by putting it on, or even cinched with a waist belt.
For an old military item, it has a very clean, modern construction, and it's a piece that looks great even just worn lightly.
Brands like Margiela have even used this item as a source of inspiration.
