【About the Fountain Pen】
The AURORA Talentum was manufactured and sold from the 2000s to the 2010s.
In the millennium year of 2000, it was rolled out as a pen representing the new century, alongside the 88 (Ottantotto) and Optima.

Its design follows the traditional round clip while having a modern finish. The size is large, typical of Italian fountain pens. It's about the same size as a Pelikan M800.
The nib is the same as the Optima's. Of course, it's an Aurora-made nib.

Aurora's own nibs have a unique feedback feel, often described as similar to writing with a pencil.
It grips the paper firmly but has a comfortable, addictive writing feel.
Why Aurora can achieve this writing feel is a mystery within the industry.

The Optima, which has a reserve tank system, actually has the weakness of requiring time and effort to clean, but the Talentum is a converter type, so it's very easy to handle.
Yet, you can enjoy the same writing experience as the Optima.

At a very reasonable price, it's perfect as a first Aurora pen, or even as a first Italian fountain pen.

The nib width is M, but in fact, Aurora's nib widths are close to Japanese standards. Aurora's M is equivalent to Pelikan and Montblanc's F, and the M of the three major Japanese brands.

Italian fountain pens can be hard to escape once you get hooked.
