1920s Model Reproduction
EDWIN's authentic vintage work line, "OVER WORKS FACTORY" 1920s model.
Faithfully reproduces the sewing specifications of the era when the main sewing equipment was the lockstitch machine, and chain stitch and lockstitch machines were not yet widespread. The 1920s are famous for the first appearance of belt loops on pants, but many pants of this era featured a mix of suspender buttons and cinch belts.
In the 1920s, laborers would attach the extra fabric from the hem of their pants to the back pockets as reinforcement, allowing them to wear them for a long time. This work pant design recreates this detail in the back pockets to evoke the feel of the time.
