This hat has quite a bit of stretch and will fit most adults. The display mannequin has a head circumference of 17" It is made with acrylic yard so it is fairly heavy and will be warm. The flowers and leaves were crocheted separately and then stitched to the hat. The flowers add weight so that the hat does not stand on its own. Either allow it to lay naturally or if a more pointed effect is desired, it can be stuffed with a lightweight fiber filling to help it stand up. There is an insert along the edge of the brim to keep it horizontal rather than floppy. Crochet time for this project was about 7-8 hours. Hand wash and air dry.
