This is a pin made of pewter with a silver plating. McClennan over his bust surrounded by a wreath around edges. This pin was used to suspend the soldiers ID tags and u can see at bottom of pin is remnants of the hole the tag hung from. This is a fairly scarce piece as are the ID tags that hung from the pin. I found this pin in 2019 in a camp off Spotswood Furnace Rd near the Chancellorsville Battlefield. The pin is missing the attachment device on the back which probably explains it being lost. Slight rim damage but still a nice excavated piece that shows the soldiers loyalty for the beloved General.
