Years ago this vintage tassel hung from a chain to weigh down the garden gate or to add a decorative look to a cemetery gate to keep it closed.
Dating back from the 19th century.
From over a century of wind, rain, snow and the beating sun,
the finer details of this piece have softened creating a rusty piece of history.
It has been displayed indoors, however for decades.
Could be hung in a garden or used as a unique paperweight or decor accessory
on a windowsill or bookshelf.
