Antique Iznik pottery bottles are also referred to as Qajar Persian Siliceous Flasks. This one has intricate bird, deer, and floral motifs, showcasing the craftsmanship of Persian and Turkish artisans. It was probably made during the 19th century, but could be older. It measures about 6.5" in height and 4” in width.
Condition: It is in good condition for its’ age. There is minor crazing and the glaze has worn off on the bottle rim. There is a line running along the deer side of the bottle that seems to be in the clay and does not appear to be a crack.The stopper doesn’t fit. It looks to me like clay dropped on the stopper after it was glazed. These imperfections are shown in the photos which are part of the description.
