Antique Edwardian White Net Lace Silk Blouse Crochet Panels High Neck AS IS. Here we have an authentic early 19th century wounded bird. This blouse is made from white net and floral lace that has yellowed lightly with age. The neckline is constructed of fine crochet and has a high mock neck. The sleeves are 3/4 length with fullness at the shoulder. The blouse is lined with white silk. Metal hooks and eyes secure the center back closed. Only one of the hooks appears to be missing.
This piece is in fair antique condition. It is discolored throughout although it has been washed. The silk lining has a few small holes and pulls as pictured. There are no major tears in the lace. This item is best for reworking or inspiration, it should only be delicately handled. Please view all photos prior to purchasing, this item is sold as is and has been priced according to the issues.
