This is a genuine antique walking cane, dating to the late 19thearly 20th century (circa 18901930).
he cane features a solid brass T-handle with a flowing Art Nouveaustyle organic motif, permanently fitted to a one-piece turned hardwood shaft. Construction is traditional and non-modular the handle does not unscrew or separate, which is consistent with early cane manufacture and unlike modern decorative reproductions.

The brass shows natural patina and hand-wear concentrated at the grip, with darker oxidation retained in recessed areas. The hardwood shaft displays honest age characteristics, including natural grain darkening and minor age-related checking. A rubber ferrule is present at the tip and appears to be a later replacement, as expected with period canes that were actually used.

This piece has been carefully examined and passes common authenticity indicators, including:
No visible seams or threaded joints
No magnetic attraction (solid brass)
Solid, non-hollow construction.
