Up for sale is a vintage 1st Edition copy of the AD&D Fiend Folio. This classic hardback is a must-have for any "Old School Renaissance" (OSR) player or collector. It contains over 150 monsters, many of which originated in the UK’s White Dwarf magazine.
The Origins: Unlike the Monster Manual, the Fiend Folio was primarily sourced from the "Fiend Factory" column in the British magazine White Dwarf. This gave it a darker, "British" aesthetic compared to other TSR books.
