This is a planar magnetic & open-back headphone developed and released by Acoustic Research, a renowned American audio equipment manufacturer, when it was still dedicated to pure audio.

◆ Operation confirmed. Lightly cleaned with alcohol wipes.
◆ Images 1 and 2 are for illustration purposes. Images 3 and later show everything included in the sale. Unfortunately, there is no outer box.
◆ The exterior is generally clean without major scratches or wear, but there is a scratch only on one side of the pivot part (image 5).
◆ The inner side of one of the ear pads is starting to tear. The exterior is clean and can still be used as is, but I will include two sets of unused spare pads, so please replace them as needed.
◆ The spare pads are third-party but made of high-quality sheepskin. I believe the original pads are no longer supplied.
◆ Replacing the original pads is attachment-style, so they will snap off when pulled inward. Replace the spare pads on the attachment base and snap them in.
◆ This model uses a 2.5mm re-cable on the main unit, which is somewhat lacking in versatility, so I will include a "2.5mm to MMCX" conversion cable. This allows you to utilize your existing earphone cable assets.
